A 42-year-old patient suffering from tuberculosis is examined by medical staff at Nimule Hospital in South Sudan. In a country where only 24% of the population currently have access to TB health services, one of the main goals of programs receiving Global Fund support is to change this, by training health professionals, and by ensuring sufficient medicine supplies are available to patients.
